Process Overview
The collection of the raw material is carried out as it becomes available at the various sites throughout the day, at a particularly demanding rhythm and organisation.
In order to ensure the highest quality of production, it is paramount to process the feathers in the shortest possible time. At SN Interplume, all feathers are washed and processed in less than 12 hours from pick-up, enabling us to guarantee the perfect quality of our products.
Arriving at our plant, the raw material undergoes various treatments:
- Washing
- Steam drying
- Sorting
- Standardisation
The processing is fully automated from receipt of the raw material through the end of the sorting stage, constantly under the supervision of qualified and experienced personnel.
